The cop car drove to the station in decent time.

Kakeru was right alongside on his bike, keeping decent pace while still following all traffic rules, as any citizen should. When they arrived, he pulled in on the side of the building, before getting off the bike and walking back to the front to escort the two women.

Alicia stepped out first, followed, closely by her mother. Artemis kept close, as if she was trying to keep her out of trouble.

Kakeru walked, escorting them, but keeping a distance of about two feet from either of them. He kept a close eye on the mother, as he got an off vibe that he couldn't quite place from her.

A cop took Artemis off. "Miss Greyworth, I'd like your statement" he said, leaving Alicia with Kakeru in the main room.
"Kakeru go with him" Terui said. "I'll take the girl's theft statement."

"Yes sir." Kakeru said with a salute, before following the other officer. He kept one hand in his pocket, holding the Trinity Memory, just in case. Some would call it paranoid, he called it caution.

Artemis was taken into an interrogation room. She sat down in a chair, her legs crossed and slightly reclining.

Kakeru stood a bit off to the side, still holding on to the necklace with his gloved hand. "Now then. The reason we found the necklace that you say belongs to your daughter isn't exactly a simple matter. Recently, multiple officers have been murdered, and this necklace was found at one of the crime scenes. Until the fingerprint matching is complete and we get proof of your alibi, both you and your daughter are suspects, and will be held until we can lock up whomever did this. I would suggest not trying to leave without clearance, for your own safety, as that will be considered a confession of guilt. Do you understand, ma'am?"

"I understand" Artemis said, not bothering to look at him. "I have been working overtime at the church every night, as our other preacher left."

Kakeru raised an eyebrow, an act he knew she wouldn't see at her current facing. "And who might this other preacher be?"

"Aya Hino. She had a change of faith" Artemis said, keeping her voice level.

Kakeru motioned to the other officer. "Aya Hino, eh?" He gave a quick hand sign, signalling to find some info on the person. "Is there anything else you might be able to tell me?"

Kakeru sighed. "Alright, write it down for us. Anything else you might have?"

"Sadly no. We have a bit too lax of a screening process" Artemis said. "If you give me a pen and paper I'll give you the address."
