The scene opens to an office of a detective agency, a young man sitting at a desk, but the camera does not reveal his face. He appears to be writing something down. The top of the page reads "Case Summary" and the rest of the page contains details of his last case. The door at the far end of the room opens, revealing the face of a young woman. The young man looked up and said "Ah, Marina. Is something wrong?" "Oniichan, you were supposed to pick me up from school an hour ago! Were you working on another case?" "Marina, I need to keep the agency's reputation up. Besides, this case involved a Dopant." "Why are you always risking your life like that? Is this about what happened with Mom and Dad?" "No, its about Fuuto needing someone to protect her. Besides, I'm not fighting alone. Did you forget about Jurrassic?" "No, I didn't. I don't think its such a good idea to keep trusting him. You've seen how he fights. What if he goes beserk and attacks you?" "He won't. He's not the kind of guy to do that." "Why are you so trusting of him, Oniichan?" "He's aided me on numerous cases already." At that moment, another man walked into the office, seeming to be of middle age. "Excuse me, is this the Ichimonji Detective Agency?" "Hai, Yusuke Ichimonji at your service." The camera then turned to reveal Yusuke's face. "I need your help with something. Its my daughter, Haruko. She's been missing for a week now and the police aren't doing anything about it." "Can you describe her for me?" "She's about the height of that girl there. Black hair that goes down to the bottom of ner neck with brown eyes. Here, I have a picture of her to help with your search." the man took a picture out of his pocket and handed it to Yusuke. "Anything else about her you can tell us about?" "She's turning 22 next month and she has a birthmark on her neck shaped like a cherry blossom." "Thank you. Don't worry, sir. I'll do everything I can to bring her back." "Thank you, Detective-san!"
The scene changes to a billiards hall on the other side of town. the hall is filled with both ordinary citizens and ruffians. Yusuke is seen at the bar talking to someone. "Haruko has a boyfriend?" "HAD a boyfriend, Ichimonji. An American named Marcus Evans. He's a photographer. Haruko broke up with him after one too many nights he came home under the influence of the demon drink." "Where can I find this Evans guy?" "He mainly hangs out at that cafe on the West side of Fuuto. If you're lucky he may be there already." "Good. Thanks for the information." Yusuke began to walk towards the exit of the billiards hall.

Isaka leaned against the wall, watching Yusuke. His dealers had told him Yusuke was a Rider, who had recently been fouling up his operations, which was not allowed. Kuro was waiting outside, and Kenji was a few blocks over. If all three of them couldn't handle this one man, they would have a problem. Kuro was poised to move, waiting for Yusuke to leave.

Yusuke walked out of the hall and pulled out his phone. He dialed the number of the detective agency. "Marina, we've got a lead. Apparently an American has a history with Haruko. He may be the culprit behind her disappearance...... Don't worry, if anything happens, Jurrassic'll have my back." Yusuke then put the phone away and strapped on his helmet.

If shadow could make a sound, it would as Kuro landed in front of Yusuke's bike, nearly invisible, his cloak fluttering slightly in the wind.
"Yusuke Ichimonji. You've been ruining my boss's operations. That stops now." Kuro said in a very deep voice as he pulled out a black Gaia Memory and clicked it open, as it announced, "SHADOWS".

"You're making a foolish decision, but if you really do want to fight...." Yusuke took the Lost Driver out of his jacket and affixed it onto his waist. "..... you're going to get one." A small, black and brown robotic raptor appeared out of nowhere. Yusuke picked it up and it transformed into its Memory form, which Yusuke activated. ((the raptor is of resemblance to Fang from the tv show, will edit profile to make it official)) "JURRASSIC" "Henshin." Yusuke placed it into the Lost Driver and pushed the arm of the Driver to where it resembled an L. His Rider form immediately appeared over his original attire.

Kuro placed the Memory into a Bio Connector on his face, shrouded beneath his hood, as darkness flowed around him, turning him into the Shadows Dopant, which was not much different from his original appearance. He laughed as he melted into the shadows, disappearing from sight.
"So it's started." Isaka said after surveying the footage from the Hawk Phone. He left, and climbed onto the roof of the billiards hall, watching the battle from above. Kuro was quite competent, and Isaka expected this to be quite one-sided.

"Hiding from your opponent. Thats a cowards fighting technique." Yusuke entered a defensive stance, prepared for whatever this guy had planned. If this Dopant made its move, Yukuse would quickly counter the attack.

Laughing was heard all around Yusuke, and a voice said, "I don't hide. I wait." as a tendril of shadow shot out from behind Yusuke, aiming for his head.

Yusuke quickly turned around and swung at the tendril, attempting to redirect it.

His strike simply passed through it, dispersing it, while another shot from the front.

Yusuke turned quickly, but not fast enough. The tendril had made impact and caused Yusuke to stagger backwards, but he regained his defensive stance and prepared himself again.

"I am the very embodiment of shadow. You cannot defeat me." A voice said all around Yusuku as three humanoid forms rose around him and attacked with razor sharp claws.

"We'll see about that." Yusuke generated a blade onto the right ankle of his suit and attempted a roundhouse kick towards one of the forms while generating a blade on his left wrist and attempting to slash another, attempting a two-in-one hit.

He hit both, but the attacks simply dispersed them. The third one slashed, while a shadow tendril wrapped around Yusuke's ankle.
"They always try, and the shadows always consume them." Isaka said to the Shadows Dopant, who was standing next to him.

The tendril was wrapped around the ankle that was still on the ground, causing him to trip and fall to the ground, but not before suffering a slash from one of the forms. Yusuke pulled out the Kuwagatta Phone and activated its Live Form. The Gatta Phone began to fly around, attempting to strike at both the Dopant and the remaining form.
