Kakeru smiled a bit, a very light blush appearing. "No, rather, thank you for accepting." He said a bit shyly, rubbing the back of his head.

Pretty boy. That always made Kakeru blush a bit. He wasn't used to such nice nicknames. No, he was far more used to the insulting slurs slung out by criminals and villains. Ryouko was definitely something totally new for him. This was definitely not a bad thing, however. As Kakeru was thinking, the waitress came back to the table, and was somewhat stereotypically perky. "Are we, like, ready to order?"

Kakeru also gave the waitress his order, and handed her the menu. "Okie doke, it'll, like, be ready in a bit~" As she walked away, Kakeru sighed. "Yeesh. That accent is kind of annoying."

Kakeru sighed, sitting back a bit, his eyes still fixated, though he hadn't consciously realized it yet. "Ryouko-chan looks really nice today. Such a nice dress. And it really suits her, too."

Ryouko was also admiring how Kakeru looked, when she noticed that his eyes were fixated. Mentally smirking, she said nothing....kind of enjoying that attention, if it came from him....

Kakeru's gaze was brought to an abrupt end by the return of miss perky, who carried a small tray. "Here's your drinks. And an order of cheese sticks, like, compliments of the chef." Kakeru sighed. "Lemme guess. He recognized me as the young rookie cop, and I likely saved him in some way or another." The waitress giggled. "Yup. He said you, like, totally saved his son from one of those nasty monsters." Kakeru sighed again. "Tell him I said thanks, and not to make a big deal out of it. It's my job."

Ryouko was annoyed, looking on...still waiting for the main course...she had liked Kakeru's fixation....Still, she took a sip of her drink, to hide what her real reaction wanted to be.

The waitress smiled. "Okie doke, I'll be back with the rest of your order in a bit, 'Officer'." As she skipped off, Kakeru let out an annoyed sigh. "There are very few situations where I'd ever condone bending the law, but I would totally look the other way if you decided to, oh, I don't know, punch her lights out." He chuckled, before munching on a cheese stick.
