Ryouko used her pistol to dispatch the big spider that was the source of all the webs...then she worked frantically with her hands trying to free "Kakeru" before more of its friends came.

Ran looked around at the snakes...and sighed before putting the pistol to her head...though she hesitated....

Anna looked at the Skull Magnum in her hand. Did this mean? She pressed the memory into it's slot in the gun. It went in with a click. Anna pulled the guns barrel into place, it clicking.
"SKULL! MAXIMUM DRIVE!"
Anna smiled and looked at the zombies and smiled. Anna had no idea if this meant that she won. Even if she hadn't, at least she had a fighting chance of surviving. She fired at the zombies.
"Skull Punisher" she said to herself, rapid fire blast pouring from the weapon. At first she couldn't control the fire rate, but after a couple seconds it just felt natural to her. The blasts stopped after a moment. The zombies were all down on the ground. Anna removed the Skull Memory from the Magnum. As she did Anna felt the Skull Magnum disappear. Her eyes shone as the zombies began to vanish and her loaded belt reappeared.

Kakeru clenched his fists. "It's...it's not real. It's an illusion. A fake. Pull yourself together. Your father wouldn't get bested by something like this. If you give in to this, you'll never be like him." He spoke, basically thinking aloud. He took a deep breath, pulling up one of his balled fists. "So grit those teeth!" He yelled out, punching himself in the face, aiming to knock himself back to composure. As he did, the images just faded away, not crumbling, but merely vanishing, as a small, bright light formed next to him, illuminating the darkness.

Ryouko freed him, and was free of the illusion.... while Ran put the gun down, shot one snake, and picked up a second, snapping its neck and throwing it into his fellows, who feasted upon him as she made good her escape. She was also free.

Cecile sat amidst the flames, breathing as evenly as she could, just focusing, trying to keep calm.
And then they were gone.

The darkness evaporated leaving Anna in the remains of the mausoleum.
"Interesting" the golden rider commented before stepping forward.
Anna, looking at her, instantly retransformed. As the Knight armor formed Anna slid Skull into her belt. The Skull Magnum appeared in a holster on her waist.

As the darkness faded, Kakeru stumbled, his armor still gone. "Dammit" He thought, hiding his face until he managed to transform again.
"TRINITY!"
"GOLD!"
"SILVER!"
"WILD!"
As he finished transforming, he made another swipe of his claws, mostly to make an opening for Knight's shot.

Anna twirled her new toy, firing a stream of bullets at Artemis. Artemis dodged then and fired off a few of her own before evaporating, along with Plasma.
Anna sighed and looked around. "Do any of you know who or what she was?"
